On this excursion we will discover two beautiful Renaissance towns in neighboring Jaén. declared a World Heritage Site as a whole, it is one of the essential visits in the province of Jaén World Capital of Oil. Both are packed with history, art and heritage.
Úbeda represents private architecture and civil power, and Baeza public architecture and religious power.
At the indicated time we will meet at the meeting point and we will head to Úbeda, to start a guided tour in which we will visit some of the following essential places in its historic center:
Vázquez de Molina Square, Dean Fernando Ortega Palace (Tourism Parador) Calle Real, Salvador Chapel, Mancera Palace, Market Square, San Pedro Square, Santa María de los Alcázares Minor Basilica.
We will have free time to eat and shop. At the indicated time we will make the transfer from Úbeda to Baeza, where we will enjoy a guided tour of this wonderful town to visit some of the following essential places in its historic center:
Town Hall Square, Antonio Machado House, Paseo de la Constitución, Lower Town Hall, Alhóndiga
Old University, Javalquinto Palace, Santa Cruz Church, Santa María Square, Cathedral, Town Hall, Walks of the Walls, Pópulo Square.
To end the excursion, after visiting Baeza we will return to Granada at the indicated time.

Baeza and Úbeda were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO on July 3, 2003 due to their urban duality and their cultural unity.
