The beaches of the Alhambra
Of the 19 municipalities that make up the Granada coast, Almuñécar, Motril and Salobreña are the best known. Extensive beaches with crystalline waters where the family character prevails, hidden coves in its surroundings located in nearby towns, impressive landscapes and cliffs on its coast make it a destination with an enviable microclimate that is unique in the country, between 16 degrees in winter and 35 degrees. in summer, which all year round attracts local, national and foreign travelers who value these welcoming destinations.
This exceptional climate has allowed the cultivation and marketing of tropical fruits such as cherimoya, mango and avocado for a century.
At the indicated time we will meet at the meeting point or at your hotel and we will head towards Salobreña, its historic center of small white and cubic houses are piled up facing the sea around a hill crowned by a monumental Arab castle, which served as a prison during the Nasrid period numerous monarchs. From the top you can see wonderful views over the magnificently preserved historic quarter, the sea and the plain.
Almuñécar, the main tourist center on the tropical coast, is a town steeped in history that overflows with cultural leisure offer for the visitor. Its Historic Center is full of life and commerce. We will get to know each other by enjoying a walk through the Parque del Majuelo and with a visit to the Castillo de San Miguel.
After lunch included in Almuñécar and in the afternoon we will continue to Nerja, a town in the province of Malaga, where we will visit the famous Nerja Caves, one of the most spectacular caves in Spain. Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 2006, a natural wonder where you always return.
We will return to Granada at the indicated time.

Salobreña, a very white town perched on a hill where we will visit the old Arab castle that crowns it, or Almuñécar, a town full of history that was founded by the Phoenicians about 1000 years before Christ, where you will enjoy a walk through the Parque del Majuelo and a visit to the Castillo de San Miguel, a privileged place to contemplate the tropical city of Granada. We will have lunch in Almuñécar and in the afternoon we will leave for Nerja, a municipality in the province of Málaga, where you will visit the well-known Cuevas de Nerja, an archaeological area that is part of the Spanish Historical Heritage and that will leave you breathless as you stroll among the stalactites and stalagmites that they form an inimitable natural spectacle. Let yourself be amazed by this underground magic before returning to Granada again
